大家有没有思考过“number”（号码）为什么要写为 No.，而且 number 里没有 o 啊，No.里的 o 从何而来？
我们想要解决这个疑惑先看下number的词源

number来源于拉丁语名词 numerus（数字，数量），后被引入法语变成nombre（名词）和nombrer（动词），最后再派生为英语 number。
numero开头是n，结尾是o，
所以它的缩写成是“no”，
但为了和否定词no区别开来，
所以在后面加个小点，即“no.”。
比如，number one = No.1
